Hotel Vernal Haunt is a charity event.  The event is a organized and staffed by volunteers.

The funds raised in 2026 will benefit the following non-profit local charities:

• Thompson House of Hope  (addiction recovery)

• Blowishes for Emily (assists families with loss of child)

• Heart of the Basin  (operates warming center)

• Reach Out and Connect  (helps individuals in need)

• Uintah County Search & Rescue
